Start writing your own reviews, then find someone to submit them to. Who knows? Maybe you’re just the column they need.
Start a blog for book reviews, and build up a name for yourself.
You review books.
There are sites where you can go and review books such as goodreads, amazon, etc. Go there and write a review for a book. If you want it good, it has to be more than “I like this book” or “I hate this book”. It has to be more.
Get a book. Read it. Write a review.
Someone else suggested goodreads – another place you can post your reviews is amazon.
Contact your local newspaper and ask who does their reviews. Offer to do a sample review.
I started writing reviews for fun. It was something I did to remember the books I read. Because I’m a good person, I put them online and people started noticing them. At a certain point in history I got contacted by an organisation which promotes book-reading in my country. They asked me whether I could write reviews for a free newspaper that gets 2,5 million readers every day. I said “yes.”
Now I’m writing reviews. It’s actually that simple.
