Successful and Busy Veterinary Clinics: Become More Efficient with Updated and Advanced Time Clock Software

New York, NY (PRWEB) January 01, 2014

MinuteHound has created a software program taking the business world by storm, and it’s ideal for the busiest veterinary clinics throughout the nation. Because of the low price of this biometric fingerprint based technology, all vet offices from small to large can justify the implementation of this software.

While most veterinary clinics are filled with trustworthy and honest employees who love their work, there are times when new employees are scrutinized. One hopes the new office assistant honors those same standards all employees have. The MinuteHound biometric fingerprint software will track the time in and out for all employees. Because it is a fingerprint based system, there is no way a co-worker can clock anyone in or out. The timesheet system offers security that will alleviate stress and distrust around the office.

Because the software is cloud based, when busy vets are out of the office there is still access to the system. City vets often make frequent house calls in times of emergency, rural vets rarely work in an office as farm animals are best treated on-site. When an employee clocks in or out, or if they don’t show, owners will know from no matter where they work. Once the employee scans their fingerprint in or out, the information is not stored on an office computer but rather goes to a database in the cloud. This database can be accessed at any moment from anywhere the Internet is reached.

As the years pass, employees are often rewarded (or demoted) because of attendance. No longer are those long ledgers, that must be poured over for hours, necessary to track attendance. Not only does the system keep track of lateness or missed days, it will generate reports within seconds, saving time and storage for those hefty books that date back years.

The MinuteHound system is error free. In a smaller clinic, dozens of man hours are lost to checking and rechecking time clocks. In larger clinics, most of the errors done in office (that then must be reviewed) are done when calculating payroll. With MinuteHound, the errors don’t exist. Everything is calculated and released, then stored for as long as you want, in the cloud. Again, information can be accessed from anywhere and at any time, all guaranteed error free. Once an employee clocks in or out, it’s recorded. For larger clinics, human error is eliminated.

There is no hassle-training required, no difficult system set-up involved. MinuteHound is easy to use. The system can email from anywhere at anytime with updates letting owners know when employees come and go. At only pennies a day, this fingerprint-based system is a perfect time-saving device for veterinary clinics of all sizes.

Voted the world’s best beach by the Sun Herald, Australia and Harper’s, Boracay is the perfect island getaway, with its warm blue waters, powder-fine white sand, and a palm fringed 4-kilometer beach.

The islands facilities and amenities make her a recreational haven. Watch February’s Fun-board Cup, windsurfing’s annual international event, or the World Beach Volleyball Tournament in September. Or take a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters.

The world-famous island of Boracay is located in Aklan province 345 kms. South of Manila. The island is accessible by air from Manila or Cebu through two principal gateways : Caticlan airport or Kalibo airport.

After a swim in the sea, you can engage in relaxing activities. Comb the beaches on horseback. Play an exciting game of volleyball. Get on an outrigger and sail to the other side of the island. Swim over to the floating bar and cool off with a cocktail. Or hop around one beach to another and enjoy the easy-going atmosphere.

After sunset, the island transforms into one exciting night of dancing and partying. But don’t take our word for it, Boracay is an island you have to experience yourself.

For many certified sun-worshippers the world over, paradise goes by the name Boracay. For indeed, many visitors have come back to Boracay year after ytear. Some have even chosen to live in this paradise island.

Sheltered from the fierce easterly typhoons, Boracay can be found at the northwestern tip of Panay, in the western Visayas region, off the Sibuyan Sea. Boracay has managed to pack its thousand-hectare area with all the elements of a tropical paradise–crystal blue waters, powder white sand, liberal doses of tropical palms and flowering plants, and a healthy marine life underneath the seas.

Boracay is made up of three little communities: Yapak in the north, Balabag in the middle, and Manoc-manoc in the south. Hilly elevations up to 100 meters above sea level characterize Yapak and Manoc-manoc. Intertwining trails link the small villages together but may sometimes lead to lush tropical jungles. Electricity and public transportation remain relatively scarce.

Boracay would have remained a national secret if not for a few foreign travellers who accidentally stumbled upon the place. Some say it was a movie crew which spread word about Boracay to other sun-worshippers. Other swear it was German traveler Jens Peters’ book, which included rare reviews about Boracay, that sent tourists on their way. Whichever tale is true, Boracay has become a melting pot for beach lovers. At any point in the island, visitors can hear English, German and French spoken fluently. More importantly, visitors respect the serene quality of the place, and pay tribute to native Boracaynons by behaving according to local behavioral codes-which means no nudity, no fighting, and no loud commotions.

Not surprisingly, the culinary fare at Boracay is as diverse as the nationalities of its visitors. French, Australian, Belgian, German, Spanish and Thai–they’re all here side by side the native cuisine. Lending ample support to this virtual rainbow of fruit shakes: from sweet yellow mango, green tart mango, to pineapple, coconut milk, cantaloupe and banana. Don’t go home without a sip.

Myths of Free Trade: Why American Trade Policy Has Failed, Revised and Updated Edition

Used – A revised and updated edition of the provocative book from the man Studs Terkel calls “one of the hippest members of Congress.” The subject of widespread attention when first released, including the pages of the “New York Times Book Review, Myths of Free Trade” provides a front-row seat to the Washington spectacle of corporate lobbying and political intimidation that keeps the free-trade mantra alive as American policy, despite all the evidence of its failure. Book Retailers in the UK Industry Market Research Report Now Updated by IBISWorld

London, United Kingdom (PRWEB) December 07, 2012

It has been a tragedy of errors for book retailers over the past five years. With sales expected to contract at a compound annual rate of 7.8% over the period, industry operators have faced a tough trading landscape. According to IBISWorld industry analyst, Andrew Johnson, their greatest hurdle has been the increasing competition exerted on the industry by external operators such as supermarkets. Retail demand for bricks-and-mortar book stores has been affected by online book purchasing and the introduction and growing popularity of e-books, which are expected to revolutionise the way consumers enjoy written text. The performance of book retailers has also been affected by fluctuations in the level of real household disposable income and subdued consumer confidence. Industry sales are expected to contract by 3.4% in 2012-13, to ?1.29 billion. Book retailers will continue to operate in a highly competitive environment, leading to a loss of market share to external players. Total online expenditure in the United Kingdom expanded rapidly over the last five years, as consumers became increasingly willing to make purchases online, often driven by the search for better deals than they would find in high-street stores.

The specialised book retailing market will continue on its downwards trend over the next five years to 2017-18. Johnson adds, e-books will continue to grow in importance, supporting sales in the total book market, but putting downward pressure on prices and revenue. This change will increasingly favour UK book retailers’ major competitor, Amazon, which leads the way in e-book sales, negatively affecting all industry operators. The exit of independent book shops from the industry will accelerate, as they are unable to adapt to e-book retailing.

The Book Retailers industry has a high level of market share concentration with the top four players accounting for 71.9% of industry revenue. Major companies include Waterstones and WH Smith.
