Question by : What is a good fantasy book for teenage girls?
I need a fantasy book for a book review, but i do not like to read about vampires and witches and stuff like that. Is there a possible book that is fantasy but does not fall under that. Im really into books like Sarah Dessen’s but those are obviously not fantasy. thank you

i don’t know if this counts for teen girls, but Coraline is a good book. i read it when i was eleven.
What do you think? Answer below!

Try Song of the Sparrow
It deals with King Arther and the Knights of the Round Table, I’m not sure if that would be considered fantasy though.
Percy Jackson :the lightning theif
:Sea of Monsters
:Titan’s curse
:The last olympian
there is another one but I forgot……..
Its about a 11 to 16 year old guy thats a half human half greek god…..
A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray
Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard
Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling
Libba Bray’s A Great and Terrible Beauty (fantasy infused with Victorian historical fiction)
Cassandra Clare’s City of Bones (grittier, urban fantasy– lots of action and humor)
Juliet Marillier’s Wildwood Dancing (retelling of the fairy tale 12 dancing princesses)
Princess Ben (spoof mashup of several classic fairy tales– very light and humorous)
Ella Enchanted (light, fluffy Cinderella retelling)
Or you could go with the C.S. Lewis classic The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
oh, i’m so glad i’m not the only one who doesn’t like the witchcraft stuff!
my first thought is the wrinkle in time series, but maybe that is a little young for teenagers. that’s probably the case for c.s. lewis’s books, too. maybe the hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy, by douglas adams, but that is not specifically for girls. also, there is a book called uglies which is pretty interesting.
Hmm, well Wizard’s First Rule is good, by Terry Goodkind.
That would probably fit under witches and Wizards category (obviously)
I can’t think of anymore, maybe the Harry Potter books but again thats witches and Wizards.
try fallen by laren kate its about fallen angels
Well you could read the mortal instrument’s series…

It’s not all about vampires and all that, trust me, lol.
Fallen is also a GREAT book. No vampires or anything.

Oh yeah! Hush, Hush was a good non-vamp book too.
